About the Course
Duration: B.Sc. (Life Science) & B.Sc. (Physical Science) is a 3-year full-time course.
Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. (Life Science) & B.Sc. (Physical Science):
B.Sc. (Life Science) & B.Sc. (Physical Science) 1st& 2nd Semester
A candidate shall be eligible to join the 1st semester of B.Sc. (Life Science) & B.Sc. (Physical Science), if he/she has passed the senior Certificate Examination (10+2 standard ) of the Board of School Education, Haryana or its equivalent examinations thereto in the science group with English as one of the subjects and has obtained at least 40% marks in aggregate.

About the Course: M.Sc. Physics
Duration: M.Sc. Physics is a 2 years full-time course.

A candidate shall be eligible to join the 1st semester of M.Sc. Physics, if he/she has passed B.Sc (Non-Medical) /B.Sc.honours (Physics)

Duration: M.Sc. Chemistry is a 2 years full-time course.

A candidate shall be eligible to join the 1st semester of M.Sc.Chemistry, if he/she has passed B.Sc (Non-Medical or Medical) / B.Pharmacy with Chemistry as one of the subjects and obtained 50% marks

Master of Zoology and Master of Botany:
Eligibility
- The admission to the M.Sc. Zoology course is done on the basis of qualifying degree B. Sc stream as zoology one of the subjects with minimum 45% marks.
- The admission to the M.Sc. Botany course is done on the basis of qualifying degree B. Sc stream as Botany one of the subjects with minimum 45% marks.
- Candidates must have passed/appeared in the B.Sc can apply for the M.programs.
College Lab facility:
There are three well equipped lab associated with M.Sc Zoology and Botany. The instrument available in the lab are Laminar air flow for culture experiment, pH meter for estimation of pH of various component of soil and water, Digital colony counter for automatically counting the colony of bacterial culture, Electophoretic apparatus for separation of DNA fragments , Microtome for section cutting and many more.

To Teach M.Sc Zoology and M.Sc Botany, there are seven staff Member who are expert in their subject
Scope of M.Sc Zoology:
Zoology as a career as a number of specializations because of which the students are presented with a plethora of career options once they chose to be associated with this field. This field is concerned with the preservation and management of animal kingdom and a career in it would mean that you are a part of that responsibility.
A zoologist might even get to travel because the nature of his / her job. Channels like National Geographic, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel are in constant need of Zoologists for research and documentaries. Zoologists are also hired for zoos, wildlife services, botanical gardens, conservation organizations, national parks, nature reserves, universities, laboratories, aquariums, animal clinics, fisheries and aquaculture, museums, research, pharmaceutical Companies, veterinary hospitals, etc.
Not only this, few other people who are zoologists by nature; Animal Behaviorists, Animal breeders, Animal Trainers, Animal Caretakers, Animal and Wildlife Educators, Animal rehabilitator, Conservationists, Documentary Maker, Forensic Experts, Lab Technicians, Researcher, Wildlife Biologists, Veterinarian, Zoo keeper, Zoo Curator, and many more.
Pay package
There are many lucrative job opportunities that will come your way, but most of them will be offered once you have some substantial experience. Although the salary mostly depends on the field you choose to specialize in but in the beginning most places will offer you somewhere between Rs 25,000 – Rs 35,000.
Scope of M.Sc Botany:
Aspirants having B.Sc degree in Botany can find lot of career opportunities in public sector. They can join Botanical Survey of India (BSI), National Institute of Oceanography (NIO), Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) etc. as Project Assistant, Technical Assistant, Field Assistant or Scientific Assistant. Relatively there are less opportunities available for them in private sector when compared to public sector. It is possible for them to work in private firms like Nursery Farms, Environmental Consultancies etc. as Environmental Consultant, Nursery Manger or Greenhouse Manager.
Opportunities available in private sector
B.Sc degree holders in Botany can pursue their career as Environmental Consultants in various Environmental Consultancies .They can also join private nursery farms as Nursery Manager or Greenhouse Manager and earn up to Rs. 4, 00, 000/- per annum. They can render their service as Farming Consultant by joining any private consultancies or starting their own consultancies. Other jobs available for these B.Sc graduates in private sector are
